We're seeking:
Surf Shop Retail Team: Your role isn't just about transactions; it's about making someone's day with your presence, kindness, and gratitude. Help customers find their perfect piece of the surf lifestyle, and create an experience they'll remember.
Surf Instructors: Share the thrill of catching that first wave. As a surf instructor, your guidance and enthusiasm have the power to create a pivotal moment in someone's life. Bring your love for surfing and a commitment to creating joyous experiences.
StandUp Paddle Poard Instructors: Lead with a sense of wonder and help others find theirs. Your role is about more than guiding; it's about inspiring gratitude for the serene beauty of nature and fostering memorable connections on the water.

“When most people think of a job you think of a 9-5 everyday workday. You think of counting the minutes until your lunch break finally comes or the clock ticks 5. Working for Matt at South End Surf ‘N Paddle is exactly the opposite. While Matt takes his work very seriously, especially when it comes to the safety of his patrons, he never talks down to you as most bosses do. Matt truly cares about his employees—he treats them like family. He is a father, business owner, advocate for the local youth, and with all that stress still finds the time to be a friend and overall decent human being to his employees. I started working for Matt alongside one of my best friends since kindergarten last year. I went into the job knowing I would be ok because I had my friend by my side. Four months later I left for school with a whole new group of best friends, my South End friends. I try to never judge people or treat anyone differently than the next person. Although when it comes to Matt and the South End team you cannot help but judge them—they are some of the nicest, well rounded, honest, and down to earth people. You treat them differently because they treat you differently, like family. I am very excited to continue to work with the shop and feel humbled to know if I ever need anything, as Matt has told me, is just one phone call away. Truly the best boss I have ever had.”
